I suppose Michael LeGault would probably beg to differ. But then again, he often comes across like a dismissive, condescending prick anyway, so fuck him. posted on 10.02.10

And now I’m actually considering procreation, just so I can do this to my future progeny. My children will be reciting “to be or not to be” and air-guitaring to “Enter Sandman” before they can walk.

Procreation? There’s no reason why you couldn’t attempt to do this with a child fashionably adopted from an impoverished region. You’ll be chic and socially conscious!

(Unless, of course, you’re a biological determinist like that.)

Sputnik, Junkie Shop, and Bookay-Ukay (especially their zine and CD selection) for me.
I wonder about the corresponding figures, in the local context, where taxes and even operating expenses (utilities, etc.) don’t work quite as transparently or efficiently as they do in the US.
Regardless, The 3/50 Project seems like a worthwhile initiative to get consumers to recognize the economic and political implications of their shopping habits. posted on 10.02.10

Everybody Hurts? Really? Great song choice, douchebags.
Also: Great cover. A true testament that everybody hurts.

“Everybody Hurts” (except Michael Stipe’s accountant). Disappointing, but not exactly a surprise. posted on 08.02.10
